**Help wanted:**
**I need help figuring out which php7 packages or packages in general are good for ICEcoder.
I suspect a lot of the currently included packages are not needed by ICEcoder and could be removed,
but I do not know which ones. Help would be really appreciated.**
ICEcoder is a browser based code editor, which provides a modern approach to building websites. By allowing you to code directly within the web browser, online or offline, it means you only need one program (your browser) to develop sites, plus can test on actual web servers. After development, you can also maintain the website easily, all of which make for speedy and smart development.

Creates a Container which runs [icecoder's](https://github.com/icecoder) [ICEcoder](https://github.com/icecoder/ICEcoder), with [lsiobase/alpine](https://hub.docker.com/r/lsiobase/alpine) as the base image, as seen on http://demo.icecoder.net/ICEcoder/.

The [lsiobase/alpine](https://hub.docker.com/r/lsiobase/alpine) image is a custom base image built with [Alpine linux](https://alpinelinux.org/) and [S6 overlay](https://github.com/just-containers/s6-overlay).
Using this image allows us to use the same user/group ids in the container as on the host, making file transfers much easier
Tags | Description
-----|------------
`latest` | Using the `latest` tag will pull the latest image for linux/amd64,linux/arm/v7,linux/arm64.
`develop` | The latest image of, if existent, the in-dev version of this container. Use at your own risk!
Using GitHub Workflows, images for this container are multi-arch. Simply pulling `:latest` should retrieve the correct image for your architecture.
Images are available for linux/amd64,linux/arm/v7,linux/arm64.

------------ | -------------
[Restart policy](https://docs.docker.com/compose/compose-file/#restart) | "no", always, on-failure, unless-stopped
data volume | Contains ICEcoder data like backups.
plugins volume | Contains all installed plugins.
TZ | Timezone
PUID | for UserID
PGID | for GroupID
ports | The port where the service will be available at.
## User / Group Identifiers
When using volumes, permissions issues can arise between the host OS and the container. [Linuxserver.io](https://www.linuxserver.io/) avoids this issue by allowing you to specify the user `PUID` and group `PGID`.
Ensure any volume directories on the host are owned by the same user you specify and any permissions issues will vanish like magic.
In this instance `PUID=1000` and `PGID=1000`, to find yours use `id user` as below:
```
$ id username
uid=1000(dockeruser) gid=1000(dockergroup) groups=1000(dockergroup)
## Changing the file manager root directory
In some cases you may want to change the root directory / file manager root directory of your ICEcoder deployment. Changing it would lead to a better overview of your files and would prevent you from accidentally changing any file of the ICEcoder application. There may, of course, be other reasons for why you would want to change said directory.
In order to change the file manager root directory, go to the settings menu of your ICEcoder instance and edit the `file manager root`entry like this for example:
That directory should be either one of the directories specified in the deployment section, or a subfolder of these. The reason for that being that these directories have their permissions and ownership set everytime the container starts, ensuring file access between host and container. I recommend using the `/code`directory. It's specified in the volumes of the Dockerfile and setup during container creation.
However, said directory is not accessed by the config script which executes during container start, meaning it won't set file permissions for /code and the files inside, you need to manage these yourself. (Thanks to [derekoharrow ](https://github.com/derekoharrow) for the suggestion in [#2](https://github.com/Griefed/docker-ICEcoder/issues/2))
# Building the image yourself
Use the [Dockerfile](https://github.com/Griefed/docker-ICEcoder/Dockerfile) to build the image yourself, in case you want to make any changes to it
```docker-compose.yml
version: '3.6'
services:
