    Which relation between two versions a caller is asking about, passed to SemanticVersionComparator.compareSemantics. It exists because "is this version acceptable?" has three useful answers and no single comparison covers them — an era boundary wants EQUAL_OR_NEW, an update check wants NEW.

      NEW

      Used to determine whether a given version is newer.

      EQUAL_OR_NEW

      Used to determine whether a given version is the same or newer.
